LEAD organized a 3-day training course titled Certified Chief Innovation Officer (CCInO®) for 60 of Dubai Customs managers and employees as part of Dubai Customs’ continuous efforts to hone the staff’s competencies and gain the best practices and know-how of driving strategic innovation.
The Certified Chief Innovation Officer (CCInO®) teaches business leaders what they need to understand to drive innovation strategically at the executive level. From innovation strategy, to developing and running enterprise innovation programs, to driving the full array of innovation outputs, participants learn how to transform the organization into a responsive engine of innovation
H.E Ahmed Mahboob Musabih – Director of Dubai Customs inaugurated the training course at Zabeel Park and emphasized on the importance of integrating innovation in the strategy : “Dubai Customs adopts innovation as a daily practice and a fixed strategy, and we educate our employees of how to approach innovation and bring out of the box ideas to the table. One way of doing this is to hold workshops and training courses like this one. Thanks to the new innovations we managed to develop customs work and promote the UAE as a leading country in this field. The UAE jumped from 27th place in logistic services performance in 2014 to 14th place in 2016”.
The certificate was developed by the Global Innovation Institute (GInI) www.GInI.org, an international membership organization providing professional membership associations in the field of Innovation and was conducted by Mr. Anthony Mills.
All delegates will have the opportunity to apply for the Certified Chief Innovation Officer exam https://www.GInI.org/ccino in order to become officially certified and hold the prestigious title.
